Product description
ActiTex- is a modern hydroinsulating mat. As a result of contact with water, the bentonite contained in it activates and causes the mat to swell (approx. 0.5-1.0 cm). Lower support layer in the form of polypropylene geotextile. It is a layer of anchoring needled fibers, thanks to which the product acquires appropriate mechanical properties. The thick bentonite gel produced in this process precisely seals the structure by creating the so-called brown bath and by penetrating all scratches and cracks formed in the micro structure.
ActiTex - is a hydroinsulating mat:
- underground parts of buildings,
- foundation slabs,
- diaphragm walls,
- underground tunnels,
- earthworks,
- flood embankments,
- landfills.
Advantages of ActiTex mats
- Self-sealing properties.
- The limited scope of preparatory work.
- Simple and quick installation.
- Can be mounted inside the formwork or to the permanent trench casing.
- No need for primer and protective layers.
- Durability and effectiveness unlimited in time.
- Can be used on a damp substrate
- Can be installed in various weather conditions.

NOTES
- In order to fully fulfil its tasks, the ActiTex mat requires pressure, the minimum value of which should be equivalent to a concrete slab with a thickness of 20 cm.
- The mat can be used for concretes intended for the exposure class XA2 or lower. In the case of increased environmental aggressiveness or high concentration of sulphur or calcium ions, please contact your distributor prior to installation.
- Before laying the ActiTex / Actitex C mat, the substrate must be properly prepared.
- Actitex C mats are installed with geononwovens from the insulated element. Actitex C mats are placed with the foil on the side of pressing water.
- The lift shafts, manholes, chambers, plate ribs and pile heads should be insulated in advance, leading the ActiTex / Actitex C overlaps from these elements for connection to the main insulation surface so as to form a continuous, uninterrupted insulation strip.
- During works, attention should be paid to maintaining the desired size of the overlap in the case of transitions under expansion joints, technological gaps and the continuation of horizontal and vertical insulation.
